Gdańsk is full of mysteries and stories of old. In one of its districts, Oliwa, time has stood still. Its architecture almost fully intact, its charming villas, sculpted townhouses and even one-storey fishermen’s houses stand side by side with historical chapels, the remains of ancient fortifications, cemeteries and graves. Oliwa is one of the most frequented parts of Gdańsk. You will get a whiff of its age-old spirit and discover it from a completely new perspective. We will take you to Oliwa Park, a place lush with greenery and a favourite spot for sweethearts. To have a view of the whole area, we will climb up to the summit of Pachołek Hill, the Tri-City‘s highest beauty spot. The Cathedral is the jewel of Oliwa, as Poland’s longest church with its monumental organ. And so we will listen to an organ concert and, after this dose of art, we will take a break with a cup of freshly roasted coffee. You will also have a chance to try dainties from a local sweet shop, with its recipes a closely guarded secret for years. Before our day is up, you will feel that this was one of the best time-travelling experiences you have ever had.
