Gdynia is famous for its Modernist architecture. We will show it to you at its best on a walk with a local guide down the Gdynia Modernist Trail. You will see magnificent buildings, fascinating ornamentation, vast staircases, all of which inspire photographers the world over. We will visit Gdynia’s Market Halls, one of its iconic buildings. We will take you on a trip through the history of the City of the Sea and Dreams, to tour the Emigration Museum, the only such museum in Poland. The view of the port and the Museum’s extraordinary exhibits will stay with you for a long time. Did you know that the famous writer Witold Gombrowicz sailed to America from this very place?
We will conclude our trip with a visit to Gdynianka, an iconic pizzeria that has been serving Chicago-style deep-dish pizza for over 30 years and there’s always a line waiting in front of it. After we have our pizza, we’ll go for some locally brewed delicious coffee.
