After the Main Town, it will be time to explore the Old Town of Gdańsk. To your surprise, it is not here that we will find most of Gdańsk’s monuments. However, the Old Town in Gdańsk hides many secrets and we will reveal them to you. We will start with a place important for world history, i.e. the Polish Post Office in Gdańsk. It was here that the Second World War began in 1939, and the Polish defenders of the facility showed extraordinary heroism and patriotism. Get to know the history of the Defenders of the Polish Post in Gdańsk.

Gdańsk Shipyard

Zwiedzaj Gdańsk rowerem

The Gdańsk Shipyard is a must-see when visiting Gdańsk. Thanks to a bike trip around Gdańsk, you can see more in a shorter time. Our guide will introduce you to the difficult history of Solidarity and the fight against the communist regime of the People’s Republic of Poland. Let the bike path to freedom take you. You will also go by bike through the oldest part of the Gdańsk Shipyard, i.e. the Imperial Shipyard. Feel the atmosphere of a bygone era. At the end, you will enter the historic BHP hall, where the famous Gdańsk Accords were signed, giving a temporary victory and great hope to Poles fighting for freedom.

Old Port in Gdańsk

The next stop on our amazing bike trip around Gdańsk is the Old Port on the Motława River. It was thanks to the location of Gdańsk on the Motława River that the city had direct access to the Baltic Sea and became one of the most powerful ports in the Baltic Sea. Gdańsk as a port city has become extremely rich and powerful and this is what we would like to tell you about when visiting the port in Gdańsk. Hear the story of powerful ships bringing goods from all over the world, about trade, money and great events. Gdańsk has always been associated with the sea and at the same time was a window to the world for Poland over the centuries.

Lower Town in Gdańsk

Zwiedzanie Dolnego Miasta w Gdańsku na rowerze

At the end of a bicycle tour of Gdańsk, we will take you to a district that comes back to life after many years of oblivion. The Lower Town in Gdańsk is perfect for sightseeing by bike, and also offers a pleasant encounter with nature while cycling along the Motława River. The beautiful defensive fortifications from the 17th century will complete the story about the power of Gdańsk and remind us of the former power of the Republic of Poland.
